bride ideas logo

The Bride Ideas project has been a great one so far. I have been able to be a part of a brand-new wedding consulting business, creating the logo and stationery for Bride Ideas (as well as coming up with the name). I hand-drew all the above graphics in Illustrator. A Web site is in the works.

As part of a freelance project, I redesigned the logo for Alex's Bistro, located in Upper Arlington. The project included the above logo, as well as business cards, letterhead and a menu. A Web site is in the works.

For a graduate-level typography class, I created this character set. The guidelines were merely that it be completely original and that at least three of the letters be based on real English characters.

poster trio

This is a collection of type classification posters, created for a typography class. My concept was blending big letters, lots of contrast and bright, eye-catching colors. The copy is all original as well.

As part of an assignment for my advertising class, I created this movie home page for a Janet Evanovich novel.

This is an acutal wedding invitation I designed; I also created matching reception and reply cards. The names have been changed, however.

dog walk ad

This Illustrator-drawn image is another assignment: an advertisement for an actual dog-walking company in San Francisco. My instructor loved the image and said that the logo I created for the company was better than the company's actual logo!

This was an assignment for a graduate-level class, in which we students were instructed to use Illustrator to create an advertisement for an imaginary deco diner in Miami.

This book jacket was created using three Adobe programs: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. The title is hand-lettered, and the copy is all original.
